The Yavington stretch of the Upper Itchen is a superb example of a classic chalkstream, offering about a mile of mainly double bank fishing for wild brown trout in totally unspoilt and glorious surroundings.
One of the members of this privately owned stretch has generously offered Salmon and Trout Conservation UK four days this summer, with the money raised going to the S&TA auction fund.
Two rods will have exclusive use of the beat. There is some wading, it is dry fly only, and catch and release for the brownies. The price is £450.00 per day for two rods.
