Despite a mixed week which saw the odd thunderstorm, the fishing on all the lakes has again been good with anglers reporting some excellent bags helped by increased oxygen levels and more latterly an increase in water temperatures. BRASENOSE ONE James Gesner had a couple of fish up to 24lb 04oz. Dave Pritchard had a 29lb mirror from B-1 along with a 17lb ghostie from B-2. With un-seasonally good weather for the time of year, carp anglers at Bury Hill Fisheries have been catching record numbers of thirties with over 20 thirties reported in just the past couple of weeks. BRASENOSE ONE 16 Feb Lewis Wood fished a day only session and landed nine fish up to 16lb using "Carp Balls" pop-ups fished at range. BRASENOSE ONE: Fishing Brasenose-1 Michelle Marriott had four carp up to 16lb 13oz during her first ever trip using fusion boilies.
